I can’t help but feel that there are amazing people out there I have yet to meet. I guess I started thinking about it when I realized how many amazing people I have in my life now—people I didn’t know a few years back or even a few months back...not like I know them now anyway. I used to let anyone into my life—I would give almost anyone a chance but by doing that, I let a lot of bad people in. There was no filter like there is now. It’s important for me to surround myself with positive people who I know will be there for me when I need them. Time weeds out the bad people in your life—people can lie about who they are but not for long and in the end, they’re only lying to themselves.
