i don't like this professor personally and i don't respect him professionally. he's useless to me. i just met with him about my grade because i felt the grade he gave me was not the grade my paper deserved. he told me that "a few points here and there" won't make my paper an A; he said it didn't matter, it was a B paper. I told him that I still expected a justification for the deducted points because I do the best I can on all papers and I'm not just going to say, "okay, you can take off a few points and that's okay because it's still a B paper." NO! It's grad school, you better back up the grade you give your students! He was like, "well...it doesn't matter, you won't get less than a B in the course." Um...that's nice!! I don't really care if I won't get less than a B in the course, I'm still going to fight you when I don't think you gave me a fair grade and it's clear you can't justify it. isn't it ironic that i'm sitting here pissed off with my arms crossed and the same stupid professor is talking about reading body language. i hope you can read this one!
