why must my dreams delve into the past? how can i delete this nonsense from my subconscious mind? i don't want to live in a world of 'what if.' i'm glad about the way things turned out. i don't want to end up with my 5th grade crush or be best friends with my best friend from middle school to sophomore year of high school. maybe i just want those things in my dream because i don't have those things as defined as they once were when i thought i knew what i wanted. i don't need any of that.
