we live in a society where we're forced to think about the consequences of our kindness. we're living in a place where if we smile at the wrong person, we might get our heads blown off by an AK-47. if you roll down your window to help a homeless man, you might get mugged. these are the thoughts that run through most people's minds anyways. it's a lot easier to keep to ourselves--it's safer in fact. and why risk it? what are the benefits of kindness in our society? kindness isn't rewarded. rewards come to those who push and fight their way to the top. if you're aggressive and pushy, you get your way. what kind of lesson are we teaching the younger generations?
